FIREFIGHTER-OF-THE-YEAR AWARDS

Inaugurated in 2000, the Firefighter-of-the-Year award recognizes a firefighter who has shown exemplary dedication to this organization throughout the year. Requirements include a minimum number of training hours and calls , as well as, reliability, positive attitude, leadership skills, & overall dedication to the dept. A list of candidates is selected by the department's senior officers and is voted on by all the members of the department. The firefighter with the most votes wins.
